 Pin Me Please.

If you have been dating a guy and you are thinking of moving in with them, then am here to help. I can help you make a decision that you will not regret. Because trust me, moving in with a guy is not a decision that you make lightly. It needs thought and consideration. I would go further and say it needs a lot of deliberation.

Here are some of the things that you should consider and know when you are making the decision;

Certainty
When you decide to move in with a guy be sure about the decision. Be very certain that's what you want and you desire. Be sure to think about it a lot and for a while before you do it. Believe me, it's not a decision you want to make promptly. Make sure you are in love with the guy before you do it since it's not an easy decision and only love will help you get through the tough times. If you are in doubt, then don't do it

Make the decision about you
When you decide to move in with a guy don't do it for any other reason apart from the fact that you want to. That you love the guy so much you want to stay with him. Don't do it to save rent or because he wants to. Don't do it because someone else thinks it's a good idea. Do it for the sole reason that You want to.

Expect Change
When you decide to move in with a guy know that the dynamics of your relationship will change, either for the best or worst. You will get to know him in ways you didn't before. You will see how he arranges his stuff or how he leaves the bathroom. You will know almost everything about him cause he won't be trying so much to hide who he really is. You will find out things you didn't know before. Some things, like his love for cooking, will make you love him more. Other things like how he leaves the kitchen after he is done cooking will make you angry. So angry sometimes you will fight about it.

Except for Some Fights
when you decide to move in with a guy know that you will fight, a lot,  at first. You are both so much in each other's space now and before you find what works and what doesn't you will fight about certain things. You will fight about where he leaves his socks, or the bathroom, or the house in general. Sometimes, after you are done cleaning he will come in and step with his dirty shoes and you will fight about it. I can almost guarantee it that you will fight a lot before things get better.

Family and Friends
When you decide to move in with a guy, not everyone will be happy about it. Your parents will probably think it's a bad idea to do it before marriage. Your independent friend will tell you how you are giving out your independence and you will hate it. Someone will make you question that decision at some point during or after the decision. Few people will judge you for it without saying it. Regardless, if you are sure about your decision then it all won't be a big deal.

It All Works Out As It Should
When you decide to move in with a guy, know that everything will work out eventually. You will find a way to co-exist. You will find ways to solve the small fights that arise. You will find ways to compromise and co-exist peacefully. You will be so happy to be sleeping next to someone you love. You will be excited to wake up to someone that loves you back, someone that brings you breakfast in bed. You will love the feeling of having someone to talk to after a long day at work. You will be thrilled to buy things and call them 'ours'. It's honestly an incredible feeling.

Sometimes
When you decide to move in with a guy know that you will probably regret it. You will realize you don't really know them. You will learn that they are nothing they said or seemed to be and you will start to rethink your decision. You will discover you made a decision you don't like. You will fight a lot and it will leave you drained and out of love.  Probably, you will move out eventually and go back to living alone. But all in all, It will work out as it should eventually. If the relationship ends, then it's okay because you will know that's not the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

"Never regret. If it's good, it's wonderful. If it's bad, it's experience."  -Victoria Holt
